Your generosity makes it possible for us to advance our ministries, provide care for our retired and elderly Sisters, and ensure a future for the Servants of Mary. Each day, the Sisters remember all family, friends and benefactors in prayer. We thank you for considering a gift and hope you will take advantage of the many gift giving opportunities available.

There are many ways to support the Servants of Mary. Listed below are gift opportunities for your consideration.

Memorial/Honor Program

Remember your deceased loved ones and friends by enrolling them in the Memorial Program. Honor those people in your life marking special occasions such as a birthday, graduation, wedding, anniversary, or notable achievement. All enrollees are remembered by the Servants of Mary in community prayer.

Matching Funds

Some businesses will match the charitable gift given by an employee. Check with your employer to see if this opportunity is available. If your business does have a matching gift program, ask your employer for the form. It's easy to complete!

Planned Giving

The Servants of Mary rely on benefactors to remember them through planned giving. This type of planning allows you to give a gift during your lifetime or after your death.

Beneficiary Designations: The benefactor designates the Servants of Mary as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan. The Servants of Mary would receive these assests upon the death of the benefactor.

Charitable Bequests: A gift to the Servants of Mary is included in the benefactor's will or living trust. A gift from a benefactor's estate may include a specific dollar amount, a percentage of the value of the estate, or any other asset. Donating appreciated assets, such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds may provide a charitable deduction without the capital gains taxes generated from selling the asset.

Trusts: Because there are several types of trusts, each with their own tax implications, you are encouraged you to discuss your situation with qualified advisors to determine the best option for you and your family. Examples of trusts include living trusts, charitable lead trusts and charitable remainder trusts.

Real Estate and Personal Property: Please contact the Servants of Mary if you are interested in donating real estate or other property gifts.
