Compassion and Divorced Catholics
Saturday, November 4, 2017 8:30 am - 11:00 am
Description: Is it possible to forgive your own and others’ mistakes, and to “let go” of everyone who hurt you? If you are a divorced Catholic who feels a bit unsettled in relationship to the Church, we invite you to join us for a morning of prayer, presentation and sharing in a hospitable environment. You will have an opportunity to reflect on your own experience with the Church. You will hear what Pope Francis and Richard Rohr have written about welcome and inclusion in the Church, and together we will consider some possible options for healing. Presenters are: Bonnie Ware, OSM Associate, retreat leader, retired educator and counselor with forty years’ experience and Val Lewandoski, OSM, Assistant Director of Servite Center of Compassion, counselor and spiritual director. There is optional Liturgy at 11 a.m. Cost is $20.
